Intro
Stayed here in Canggu and overall itβs a very easy place to like. Itβs not a luxury resort, but it gets the basics right β especially breakfast and location.
The highlight for me was the rooftop infinity pool. It has a slightly boutique feel β not too big, not too crowded β which makes it very relaxing, especially during sunset.

π What I Liked
- Location is very convenient β easy walk to the beach and many cafes
- Breakfast is solid, especially for vegetarian options (not just fruit and bread)
- Rooftop infinity pool feels more boutique than expected, and not too crowded
- Drinks at the pool bar are reasonably priced, so you can just relax there longer
- Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful
- Got early check-in, which was really appreciated
- Good overall security, similar to most Balinese hotels
- Small but thoughtful touch: a washing tap at the entrance to rinse your feet after the beach
- Kids club is a nice bonus, with simple games like air hockey and foosball

π What I Didnβt Like
- Area can get quite busy with traffic
- Rooms are quite small, especially if you have luggage
- Balcony door is quite heavy and not the easiest to open or close
- Only one main restaurant in the hotel
That said, itβs not really a downside. Canggu has plenty of good food options nearby β from local food to vegetarian and vegan cafes. Youβre honestly better off eating out most of the time.
ποΈ Room
- Bed: comfortable for a good nightβs sleep. Advertised as king sized, but Grand Mercure Seminyak’s is larger.
- Space: Minimum space when you add crib and suitcases.
- Noise: Pretty quiet even though our room was on the ground floor
- Bathroom: Excellent water pressures, best shower after a day’s outing. Kids love it!
- Balcony: Great green views and stars at night
- Aircon vent on the floor, risk of dropping things inside.

π³ Breakfast / Food
Breakfast was better than expected. Good variety, including proper vegetarian options and some hot dishes. Not super impressive, but definitely reliable and good enough to start the day.

π΅ Getting Around & Food Delivery
Ordering food is very easy here. Gojek (GoFood and GoMart) works well, and there are plenty of options around Canggu.
Delivery riders may need your room number to enter the hotel, so just be ready to provide it when ordering. Overall, very convenient if you donβt feel like going out.
It was also very easy go get a car to explore Bali, wait time were generally less than 10 minutes with Gojek.
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Who Itβs Best For
- Families
- First-time Bali visitors
- People who want a convenient and comfortable base in Canggu

π§Ύ Final Call
I would return. The location works really well β close to a surf-friendly beach, plenty of nice cafes like Milk & Madu nearby, and an easy Gojek ride to Pererenan.
Itβs not a destination hotel, but as a comfortable and convenient base in Canggu, it does the job very well.
