We have always wanted to stay at Hilton Kuala Lumpur which is situated right beside KL Sentral, the city’s trains transit interchange. One of the perks when staying at Hilton Kuala Lumpur is the convenience of taking a 28 minutes direct express train from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to KL Sentral. It is the fastest way to commute from the airport to city centre. We entered the hotel from its side door. Hilton KL is side-by-side with Le Meridian, occupying identical building from the outside. Both are also sharing a large pool.

Hilton Kuala Lumpur – Check-In
There was a queue during check-in with only a few agents over the counter. While we were checking in, we were given a glass of Guava juice, it was cold and refreshing, exactly what we needed! The agent thanked us for being a Diamond member. We’ve booked a King room and was informed that we have been upgraded to a Grand Executive Suite. Initially our room was located on the 19th floor, however, the guest had yet to check out, we were offered another room on the 18th floor. We were spending a night here before making our way to Singapore the next day.
Hilton Kuala Lumpur – Grand Executive Suite
Our room was at the 18th floor with a spacious living area, dining area together with a guest bathroom, there were too much storage space in this suite. I think the bathroom maybe larger than the bedroom it self, I’ll let the photos speaks for itself.
We are just a bit disappointed that the room description said the room was equipped with a Nespresso machine but there was none in our room. We did got some decent coffee at the executive lounge.
I have also made a video of the hotel room.
Hilton Kuala Lumpur – Gym and Pool:
I have uploaded most of the photo on my Instagram account. Here’s the view of the magnificent pool.
Hilton Kuala Lumpur – Breakfast:
We had our breakfast the next day at the lobby floor, breakfast was also served at the Executive Lounge but we decided to have it at the main restaurant. I’ll let the photos speak itself. A wonderful range of food selection including multiple Malaysian and South East Asia cuisine.
Teh Tarik together with Nasi Lemak is a must to experience the Malaysian breakfast. I liked it that the Teh Tarik was served in a street style glass, making it felt so authentic.
We tried out the Pita with Hummus as well together with some passion fruits. The passion fruit was sweet and sour, it surely did “woke us up”! Try out the snake fruit if you have never had one before.
Hilton Kuala Lumpur – Executive Lounge:
The Hilton Executive Lounge was located at the 33rd floor serving daily afternoon tea and some snacks followed by an evening cocktail session. We enjoy the sunny city view with a cup of cappuccino. We had a good time over there since it was not too crowded.
The dress code is smart casual.
We joined the evening cocktail session as well as the afternoon tea.
Hilton Kuala Lumpur – Overall Impression
We had a good time staying at Hilton Kuala Lumpur for one night, we wished we could go back again someday to enjoy the pool again. A suite upgrade is always welcome but I am pretty sure their standard room will be as great too!

Love the breakfast. The kids love the pool so much too! It just look like a resort hotel in the middle of the city.

Really convenient to go around the city with the local train. A mall with lots of restaurants and shops is less than 5 minutes away.

The room is pretty cosy, too bad our room did not have a view.
