We have wanted to try out TWG Tea for a very long time in Singapore, there are a lot of positive stuff that we have heard about them from our friends. We bumped into TWG Tea while spending sometime at Pavilion KL, Pavilion Mall was only 10 minutes walk away from our hotel – Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.
We were there on a Sunday evening around 7.30pm, which was probably the reason why the TWG was quiet. There were only 2 customers at the cafe when we entered. The waitress escorted us to our table, a good distance from the other customers so that we could enjoy some private times. There do have some nice decorations I would say.

We were then presented a menu each. We were overwhelmed with the tea selections available, there were hundreds of tea available, we might have taken around 15 minutes to figure out what we wanted. TWG’s website has some of these teas listed too, have a look at them and you will understand why it took us that long too.

The TWG cafes in Singapore are usually crowded, being able to have a conversation without raising our voice is a luxury here. Here’s a view of empty tables beside where we sat.

TWG Tea – Tea and Desserts
We had dinner earlier and are here for tea and dessert. We ordered two pots of tea and also two desserts. Initially we thought of having only one piece of dessert but the waitress told us that it is a buy one get one free evening, so without hesitation, we ordered two!
We had the Blackcurrant and Mandarin Cheese Cake, we prefer the Blackcurrant one. As for the tea, we had Darjeeling Princess Tea.

About the Darjeeling Princess Tea
Fine, first flush Darjeeling black teas are delightfully blended with ripe orchard fruits to evoke a moment of beauty and sweetness. A jewel of a blend that will carry you away to legendary kingdoms.[/themify_box]

On our way out, we also took some more photos of the cafe:

Bottom Line
We like this place and thought it was worth visiting. Definitely not a weekly agenda, but if you would like to pamper yourself for some great tea, dessert and customer service, this is a place to be. It will be a bonus if the cafe is as quiet as our experience was.
